Porsha's extensive training under renowned instructors, including Thomas Vasiliades at The Juilliard School Evening Division, Lee Brock of The Barrow Group in New York, and the world-famous Second City in Chicago, has equipped her with the tools necessary to build a successful acting career. Her academic background, which includes a major in Theatre at Clayton State University, has also played a significant role in her development as a skilled actress.
Throughout her career, Porsha has appeared in numerous independent films and has secured recurring guest starring roles on popular television shows, such as Tyler Perry's "The Haves and The Have Nots" and TV One's "Fatal Attraction." Her impressive resume also includes guest appearances on Investigation Discovery's "Homicide Hunter." In the near future, Porsha will be seen in Director Mark Harris's "36 Hour Layover," set to release in theaters later in 2016, as well as in the Muhammad Ali film "The Last Punch" and the 72nd Venice International Film Festival Best Film winner "Free in Deed."
In addition to her acting credits, Porsha is also a producer and writer, having worked on a tentative video-on-demand film titled "Closet Space" and a web-series called "Twisted Mines." Her commercial credits include advertisements for Soft n' Free and Beauty Ads, which have been featured in Upscale Magazine, Essence Magazine, and other prominent publications.
