Following his graduation from the prestigious National School of Drama (NSD) in New Delhi in 1986, Piyush Mishra embarked on a career in theatre, initially as an actor and later as a writer and director.
During his tenure with Act-1 Group from 1990 to 1995, Mishra wrote and directed numerous plays, establishing himself as a talented and versatile artist.
In 1996, Mishra joined Asmita Theatre Group, where he delivered his popular one-man shows, including "An Evening with Piyush Mishra". Additionally, he penned the lyrics for several of Asmita's successful plays, further solidifying his reputation as a master of multiple creative disciplines.
