Pitobash Tripathy was born in the quaint town of Deuli, nestled in the heart of Nayagarh, Orissa, to a traditional Oriya Brahmin family. He is the youngest of five siblings, with three brothers and two sisters, and was raised in a loving environment that fostered a strong sense of family values.
His mother, a retired school teacher, played a significant role in shaping his early years, while his father worked tirelessly for the Agriculture department. This upbringing instilled in Pitobash a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the importance of education.
Pitobash's educational journey began at Government High School, Unit 1, Bhubaneswar, where he completed his schooling. He then proceeded to Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar College, Bhubaneswar, to pursue his higher secondary education. His academic pursuits continued at Government College of Engineering & Leather Technology in Kolkata, where he earned his Bachelor of Technology degree in Leather Technology in the year 2005.
However, Pitobash's passion for the performing arts led him to enroll in the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, where he earned a diploma in acting. This training proved to be a turning point in his career, as it provided him with the skills and confidence to take on various roles in the entertainment industry.
Pitobash's early foray into the world of performance began when he received the "National Balshree Award" from the President of India at the tender age of 12, in recognition of his creative talents. He then went on to involve himself in theater in Kolkata from 2001 to 2005, honing his craft and building a strong foundation for his future endeavors.
In 2007, Pitobash made the transition to Bollywood, marking the beginning of his journey as a professional actor. His latest venture, Walt Disney's "Million Dollar Arm," serves as a testament to his versatility and talent, as he makes his Hollywood debut in this highly anticipated film.
