He has also directed and produced content for prominent brands, including BMW, Unilever/Dove, Dominos Pizza, and Peterbilt. Additionally, his music video debut premiered on MTV, and he is the owner of a top production company in Arizona, Onset Networks.

A native of New Jersey, Angelotti graduated from Rutgers College Phi Beta Kappa in 1992 with a degree in Economics and Mathematics. Although he initially pursued a career in investment banking, he never lost sight of his passion for the arts. After being close to the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1992, Angelotti realized that life was too short to ignore his true desire.

Within a few weeks of this pivotal moment, Philip moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting and writing career. He immersed himself in studying the craft for several years, eventually landing roles on television programs such as Coach, Blossom, and JAG. He also had a recurring character on NYPD Blue.

Despite coming close to achieving a breakthrough in his acting career, Philip decided to take a proactive approach to showcase his many talents. This led to the birth of his producing career, which began with the play Vespers Eve at the Gardner Stages in Hollywood, California. He then co-produced his first feature film on 16mm and co-wrote and starred in the full-length feature project "You Got Nothin' ".

The script received praise from top talent agencies and production companies, but ultimately, Angelotti and his co-writer and co-star, Steven Langa, decided to produce the project independently. They were chosen to participate in Panavision's First Time Filmmaker Program and utilized their business knowledge and on-set experience to produce the project.

The result was a large-scale undertaking that involved 32 days of principle photography across three states and seven cities, with a crew comprising individuals from the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia. With his extensive knowledge of the technical aspects of directing, combined with his acting experience and on-set expertise, Philip Angelotti, Jr. made his directorial debut with the award-winning project "You Got Nothin' ".
