Phil Traill was born in the state of New Jersey, United States, but at the tender age of six, he made the bold decision to relocate to the vibrant city of London, England.
Following his relocation, Phil went on to graduate from Newcastle University with an outstanding academic achievement, earning a First-Class honors degree in both English and Film Studies. This impressive academic record laid the foundation for his future success in the world of television and film.
Before transitioning to the United States, Phil had already established himself as a talented director, having worked on a diverse range of projects, including television shows, short films, and music videos, for some of Britain's most prominent television production companies.
In 2006, Phil made the move to Los Angeles, California, where he has since directed an impressive total of over one hundred episodes of prime-time television.
As of 2023, Phil serves as the Executive Producer and Director on the popular television series 'Single Drunk Female', which is broadcast on both Freeform and Hulu.
