Peter Paige is a highly accomplished and multifaceted individual, boasting a diverse range of talents and experiences in the realms of acting, directing, and playwriting.
Born with a passion for the performing arts, Paige began his journey at the tender age of six, and continued to hone his craft throughout his middle and high school years. He went on to attend Boston University's prestigious School of Theatre Arts on a full scholarship, immersing himself in the classical theatre conservatory for twelve to fifteen hours a day.
Upon graduating summa cum laude from BU, Paige made his way to New York City, where he embarked on a whirlwind tour of the country, performing in productions of Moliere's "Tartuffe" in both English and French. This experience further solidified his desire to continue pursuing his dreams, and he eventually relocated to Portland, Oregon, where he spent two years working on the city's Equity stages.
It was during this time that Paige was discovered by a manager, and subsequently brought to Los Angeles, where he landed his first audition and secured a guest spot on the popular television show "Suddenly Susan." This breakthrough role was soon followed by his portrayal of Emmett Honeycutt on Showtime's "Queer As Folk," a character that would go on to become one of his most iconic and beloved roles.
Paige's extensive list of credits also includes appearances on "Caroline in the City," "MTV'S Undressed," "Time of Your Life," "Movie Stars," and "Will and Grace," among many others.
When he's not busy bringing his talents to the small and silver screens, Paige can be found indulging in his various hobbies and interests, which include politics, sushi, watching tennis, and contemporary art.
