Biography

Peter Frechette, a talented individual, was born and raised in Coventry, Rhode Island. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from the University of Rhode Island, laying the foundation for his future success in the entertainment industry. With his sights set on the bright lights of New York City, Frechette made the move to pursue a career in acting on stage. His remarkable performances earned him Tony Award nominations for his roles in Eastern Standard, which premiered on Broadway, and Our Country's Good, an off-Broadway production. His impressive stage credits also include Night and Her Stars, and The Destiny of Me.

As his career continued to flourish, Frechette made the transition to Los Angeles in the late 1970s to pursue opportunities in film and television. His early movie role was a minor part in Grease 2 (1982),where he utilized his Broadway-honed singing skills to great effect. This marked the beginning of a long and successful career in television, with notable guest appearances on shows such as L.A. Law (1986),Picket Fences (1992),and Thirtysomething (1987),for which he received an Emmy Award nomination for best guest appearance. Frechette also had recurring roles on the shows Dream Street (1989) and Profiler (1996).
