Pete Kasper, a native of Chicago, embarked on his acting career at a young age, taking to the stage as 'Fagan' in Lionel Bart's "Oliver". Concurrently, he pursued his passion for music, mastering piano, French horn, trombone, trumpet, and singing.
Throughout his teenage and early adult years, Pete accumulated an impressive repertoire of stage work, featuring in productions of George M. Cohan's "The Tavern", Kaufman and Hart's "You Can't Take It With You", "West Side Story" as 'Tony', and "Grease" as 'Kenickie'. He even showcased his vocal talents in the barbershop quartet of "The Music Man".
Pete's academic pursuits led him to study theatre at Illinois State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). Upon graduating, he returned to Chicago, where he continued to hone his craft through performances, productions, and direction. He signed with the Shirley Hamilton Agency (S.H.A.) in Chicago and soon found himself appearing in national commercials for Budweiser, Miller Lite, and American Airlines.
In 1993, Pete made the move to Los Angeles, where he has since worked extensively in Film and Television. He has secured several guest-starring roles on TV shows such as "Gideon's Crossing", "ER", "Lucky", and "C.S.I. Miami", as well as featured roles in films like "Volcano" (20th Century Fox),"Mysterious Skin" (Anecdote Films),"Dragon Wars" (Sony Pictures),"Underclassman" (Miramax),and "Four Senses" (Metropole Films).
In addition to his acting career, Pete has also been involved in project development and punch-up writing for projects such as "Paradise Motel" and "Cash".
When not working, Pete enjoys the SoCal lifestyle and dedicates his free time to volunteering at Project Angel Food, a charity that supplies and delivers meals to shut-in AIDS patients.
