Biography

Petar was born in Cetinje, Montenegro, due to the absence of a maternity hospital in Budva. His father, Vladimir, is a former volleyball coach, and his mother, Dragana, was an accountant. Growing up on the Adriatic coast in Budva, Petar attended elementary school "Stefan Mitrov Ljubisa" and later enrolled in high school "JUSMS Danilo Kis", with aspirations to become a seaman or professional volleyball player.

Petar's passion for drama led him to join a local marching band as a drummer and a local TV teenage series named "Cool" as an actor and skit writer. This experience earned him a spot in his high school's drama section, while he continued training to become a professional volleyball player.

After graduating high school, Petar's drama teacher encouraged him to enroll in the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, but due to time constraints, he initially chose to attend the Maritime Faculty in Kotor, department of Nautics. However, his thespian demons persisted, and he eventually attended the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, where his talent was recognized by the professors' panel.

Petar began his studies in drama, but his career took an unexpected turn when he was offered a role in a motion picture that would be shot in Belgrade. He traveled back and forth between Cetinje and Belgrade for a month, preparing for the role while simultaneously rehearsing for a stage play in Cetinje.

To secure the role, Petar was required to learn how to play football and master the Serbian accent. He put his studies on hold and moved to Belgrade full-time, eventually perfecting his skills and landing the role of Blagoje "Mosa" Marjanovic in Dragan Bjelogrlic's "Montevideo: Taste of a Dream" (2010).

Petar's performance in "Montevideo" earned him an award and launched him to stardom. He reprised his role in the sequel "See You in Montevideo" (2014) and went on to guest star in local TV series. He then landed the lead role in the hit comedy "Little Buddho" (2014),where he mastered a rhoticism and gained 20 kg (about 40 pounds) in weight.

The following year, Petar got the role of underground fighter Vladica in the action-comedy "The Samurai in Autumn" (2016),during which he transformed his extra weight into muscles. Although the movie received mixed reviews, his transformation and talent were widely praised. He later secured a recurring role on Croatian soap "Prava zena" and a cameo in Nikola Kojo's "Stado" (2016).

Currently, Petar resides in Belgrade, where he is preparing to become a member of an international stunt team as an actor-stuntman.
