Peewee Piemonte, a veteran in the Entertainment industry, is a two-time Emmy winner and four-time Emmy nominee. Born in the Bronx, Peewee earned his nickname in the 4th grade, due to being the biggest kid in school. He learned to accept and turn his size into an asset, winning his class in bodybuilding in the JR America.
Success in bodybuilding led to a seamless transition into commercials, where Peewee began his entertainment industry career. On a commercial shoot, he was introduced to stunts and stuntmen, and his focus shifted to turning his winning athleticism into making top-tier action for television and film.
With skill, build, and determination, Peewee's career thrived quickly. He has virtually done it all, traversing from stuntman to stunt coordinator, to second unit director, and now award-winning Director for his emotional feature "Last Writes". His Best Director Award was a product of the great performance he received from legendary actor, Lance Henriksen's portrayal of Robert Service, hiding his love affair with a soldier in the war in 1941.
Peewee is a former Vice President and now Lifetime Member of the Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures (S.A.M.P.). He is a Stunt Rigger, Stunt Driver, and former Instructor for ROCO - Confined space, structural, and high-angle rescue.
Throughout his 36-year career, Peewee boasts over 300 professional entertainment credits on shows such as "Seal Team" for CBS, "Jane The Virgin" for CW, "How To Get Away With Murder" for ABC, and "The Newsroom" for Aaron Sorkin/HBO. He has also worked on shows like "Person of Interest", "Monday Mornings", "Unaccompanied Minors", "Vacancy 2", "Numb3rs", "The Defenders", "CSI Miami", and "What Just Happened" starring Robert DeNiro.
Peewee is also President of JMP Productions Inc, where he and his wife, Julie Michaels, have forged a brand of Action Direction on the foundation of ability, trust, integrity, and ethics. Their commitment to employing hundreds of Veterans in performing positions on the shows they coordinate is a testament to their values.
