Pavel Vesnakov, a talented individual, was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, in the year 1987. As a student of the renowned Georgi Djulgerov, Pavel's academic journey led him to the New Bulgarian University, a discovery he made almost by chance after completing his secondary education in Sofia.
Initially, Pavel pursued his studies at two institutions, including the Faculty of History at Sofia University, but his academic tenure was short-lived, lasting only a mere three months. He then began his cinematic journey, producing his first film for a modest budget of less than 1000 euros, funding it through a combination of friendly loans and his mother's financial support.
Pavel's mother, a dedicated doctor, played a significant role in his early filmmaking endeavors. His subsequent film was produced using the prize money he received for his initial project. The making of his third film, "Pride," a co-production between Bulgaria and Germany, was a three-year endeavor, marked by a relentless search for funding.
The culmination of his efforts was the Grand Prix award at the prestigious International Film Festival in Clermont-Ferrand, France, for "Pride." Pavel's subsequent short film, "Zeus," also garnered the Grand Prix award at the Brest Film Festival in France, solidifying his reputation as a talented filmmaker.
