Paul Wagner is a 10-year veteran in the interactive space, boasting a prestigious Emmy Award win and serving as CEO/co-founder of GabCast.TV, a pioneering online platform empowering anyone to broadcast their own multi-person live shows. Wagner's impressive career highlights include securing a multi-million dollar content distribution deal between Will Ferrell's FunnyOrDie.com and content sensation Babelgum.com. He also served as Executive Producer on a vast content deal at Babelgum, creating hundreds of videos for distribution on AOL, Google, and Sprint. Additionally, Wagner produced a sketch-comedy TV pilot featuring rising stars and a reality TV pilot featuring Snoop Dogg's production studio and producer LT Hutton.
Prior to his current role, Wagner ran his own content company, Creative Lab LLC, from 2006-2008. As CEO, he executive produced, created, and developed comedy content for Sprint, Google, AOL, and DivX. During this period, Wagner produced a unique reality TV pilot featuring Snoop Dogg's production studio and LT Hutton.
Early in his career, Wagner won several New England Emmy Awards and other accolades, including Best of Gannett and ACT Awards, for his children's TV show, public service announcements, and TV specials. As host, writer, and co-producer of The WLVI Kids Club, Wagner was recognized for his exceptional work. He was also one of four international comedians selected from 2,000 worldwide entries for the world's first reality program, which followed comedians from their home countries to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Wagner has taught at the NY Film Academy and lectured at Boston University and other institutions on creativity, improvisation, interactive media, and the future of entertainment.
