Born and raised in England, Paul's life took a dramatic turn at the age of seventeen as he embarked on a journey of self-discovery and exploration in Europe and the Middle East. Throughout his travels, he adopted a diverse range of roles, showcasing his versatility and adaptability as a dairyman, mechanic, handyman, puppeteer, bluegrass mandolinist, and chef, all while maintaining a strong presence in the acting world, both on stage and screen.
After returning to England, Paul took on a new challenge, selling life insurance by day, but his restless spirit soon led him to escape to the Cote d'Azure, where he found solace in the beautiful landscapes of Monaco, Monte Carlo, and the French Riviera. It was here that he honed his skills as a mandolin player, joining a bluegrass band and immersing himself in the vibrant music scene.
Eventually, Paul settled in Los Angeles, where he landed a starring role in a musical comedy, "Orpheus Gets Laid," and made his screen debut in a film based on the life of the legendary guitarist and composer, Hank Garland. His impressive US screen credits include appearances in "CSI: Las Vegas," "NUMB3RS," and "Supernatural."
However, Paul's passion for music never wavered, and he continued to pursue his love for the mandolin, leading his own award-winning gypsy jazz quartet, The Statmen, as the mandolin-picking leader. With his eclectic background and impressive range of talents, Paul has established himself as a true Renaissance man, effortlessly navigating the worlds of acting, music, and beyond.
