Biography

Prolific and most-awarded Canadian cinematographer, Sarossy has enjoyed a successful career, collaborating with a diverse range of esteemed film directors, including Atom Egoyan, Denys Arcand, Norman Jewison, Paul Schrader, Neil Labute, and Neil Jordan.

As a member of the American Society of Cinematographers, the British Society of Cinematographers, and the Canadian Society of Cinematographers, Sarossy holds the distinction of being the only individual to be a member of all three prestigious organizations. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to shoot films in various locations around the world, including Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, South Africa, Hungary, Germany, and Tajikistan.

In addition to his work as a cinematographer, Sarossy has also ventured into directing, with his feature film "Mr. In-Between" earning numerous international awards. Furthermore, six of his films have been selected for the Official Competition at the Cannes Film Festival, with one of them even receiving a Palme d'Or nomination.
