Biography

Paul Ready is a renowned British actor, whose impressive career has spanned across various mediums, including stage, television, radio, and films.

Born in Birmingham, Ready grew up in the town of Harborne and attended King Edward VI Five Ways school within the city. He then went on to train at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

At the tender age of 17, Ready made his mark on the stage by playing the iconic role of Romeo in the National Youth Theatre production of Romeo and Juliet at London's Bloomsbury Theatre, opposite the talented Rosamund Pike as Juliet.

Ready is a regular fixture at the National and Royal Court theaters, having appeared in leading roles in productions such as Major Barbara and Saint Joan, both written by George Bernard Shaw, as well as Time and the Conways. His West End credits include One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, which starred Christian Slater.

In addition to his stage work, Ready has also made a name for himself on television, with notable appearances on shows such as Utopia in 2013.

In 2018, Ready took on the lead role of Henry Goodsir in The Terror, a 10-part series based on Dan Simmons' best-selling novel.
