Paul Maslak, a multifaceted creative force, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. Concurrently, he worked as a project planner for Disney's EPCOT and Tokyo Disneyland projects, while also taking on the role of editor for INSIDE KUNG-FU magazine.
As editor, Maslak was invited to serve as casting director for the martial arts film "No Retreat, No Surrender," where he played a crucial role in discovering the talents of Jean-Claude Van Damme and Cynthia Rothrock. Following this experience, he embarked on a dual career path, working as a master scheduler and production control supervisor in corporate America during the day, and as a free-lance story analyst for HBO and Tri-Star Pictures by night.
After leaving his corporate job, Maslak transitioned to managing martial arts actors before taking on hands-on film production roles. He worked his way up through the ranks of numerous low-budget films, eventually becoming a full-fledged producer. In 1993, he formed a partnership to produce independent features, and in 1996, he made his directorial debut with the film "Sworn to Justice."
