Paul Kreppel, a renowned television actor, took home the esteemed Tony Award in 2007. He is an honored alumnus of Emerson College, where his passion for the performing arts was nurtured.
Kreppel's journey in the entertainment industry began in 1968 when he joined the Boston Improvisational theater group, "The Proposition", alongside notable performers like Jane Curtin, Judith Kahan, Josh Mostel, Munson Hicks, and Fred Grandy.
As the group transitioned to New York, Kreppel quickly made a name for himself in the off-Broadway community, starring in productions such as "Godspell", "Tuscaloosa's Calling Me...", and NY Shakespeare Festival productions of "Comedy of Errors", "Agamemnon", and "Alice in Concert" alongside the talented Meryl Streep.
In 1979, Kreppel relocated to Los Angeles, where he landed the role of Sonny Mann, the piano player, in TV's "It's a Living" just eight months later. Throughout his career, he has continued to return to New York for theater work, including appearances in the 1990s production of "Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh!" and the National Tour of "Jerome Robbins' Broadway".
Kreppel's impressive résumé also includes directing and producing credits, particularly with his WetRock Entertainment partner, Ms. Murphy Cross. Together, they created and directed the Tony-winning "Jay Johnson: The Two & Only!". He has also served on the Council of Actor's Equity Association and as a board member of the Screen Actors Guild.
In his personal life, Kreppel is a devoted father to two children, Will, a musician and composer, and Molly, a performer and photographer.
