Paul Andrew Kimball has had a prolific career in television, writing, directing, and producing a diverse range of programming, including the television series Haunted, Maritime Museums, and Cinema 902.
In addition to his television work, Kimball adapted and produced the drama special Julius Caesar for Bravo in 2000, and produced the 2002 Canadian indie feature film Dying Fall. His feature films as a writer/director include The Cuckoo in the Clock, released in 2013, Roundabout, released in 2014, and Exit Thread, released in 2016.
As an executive producer, Kimball has worked on several feature films, including Aliens With Knives, The Last Divide, Creepy Crawling, and Shadow In the Mirror, all released in 2018. In 2019, he produced the feature film Shadow In the Mirror. In 2021, he is set to produce the second season of the independent feature film anthology series Cinema 902, as well as the dramatic series The Last Divide.
Kimball's most recent feature film, The Colour of Spring, was released in November 2020.
Outside of his work in film and television, Kimball has held various industry positions. He served as the past president of the Nova Scotia Film and Television Producers' Association, a former member of the Province of Nova Scotia's Film Advisory Committee, and was a founding member of the Motion Picture Industry Association of Nova Scotia.
Kimball holds a BA with honors in history and political science from Acadia University, and a JD from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University.
