Paul's journey in the world of acting began at the tender age of 9, when he played an Angel in a school nativity play. This marked the start of his passion for performing, which he continued to nurture through musical performances on the flute and piano. His next notable role was as "The Owl" in Edward Lear's "The Owl and the Pussycat", a school play that showcased his talent.
However, his early life was also marked by his love for football, which dominated his life until he was 16. Unfortunately, a series of knee and ankle injuries put an end to his aspirations of becoming a professional footballer. This setback led him to explore other avenues, and it wasn't until he was 20 that he discovered his true calling.
At University in Bolton, Paul attended Nemesis Model Agency in Manchester, learning the ins and outs of the modeling industry. He was also signed to Crowded City, a agency specializing in commercials and walk-on roles. It was during this time that he worked as an extra on the TV show "Hollyoaks" and auditioned for "Crimewatch", finally feeling like he had found his place.
Determined to succeed, Paul returned to his hometown and began attending acting workshops in 2003. He joined a local TV club that was producing an online soap opera, which provided a valuable training ground for his development as an artist. He started to secure roles in short films and features, and his credits soon included "Facility 31", "Director's Cut", "D.One", and "The Harsh Light of Day".
Paul's versatility as a screen actor has been showcased through his recent roles. He played the character of "Corporal Sean Adams" in the horror trailer "Facility 31", and the lead character "Jonas" in the winning film "A Couple of Clowns" at the "Director's Cut" film competition. He also starred as "Sergeant Downey" in the action film "D.ONE", which was shot on an old military air base in Germany. In "The Harsh Light of Day", Paul played the role of "Tom", a small-time criminal who becomes embroiled in a battle for revenge.
