Paul's academic journey commenced with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Production from the University of Buffalo, a prestigious institution, in the year 1992. This marked the beginning of his formal education in the realm of film production, laying the foundation for his future endeavors.
Following his graduation, Paul made the decision to relocate to North Carolina, a state that was rapidly emerging as a hub for the film industry. His initial foray into video editing on the Macintosh computer led him to explore the nascent field of web design, a profession that would become the primary focus of his career from 1994 onwards.
Despite the creative fulfillment that came with working in web design, Paul's passion for filmmaking continued to simmer beneath the surface. The dream of one day returning to his roots in the film industry remained a persistent aspiration.
The concept for Remnants, Paul's magnum opus, was born out of a dramatic event - a prolonged hurricane-induced blackout that lasted for several days. Over the course of two years, he poured his heart and soul into crafting the script, finally bringing his vision to life.
