Paul Morgan Genge, a talented character actor, was born on March 29, 1913, in the vibrant city of Brooklyn, New York. His journey in the world of acting began on the esteemed East Coast, where he took to the Broadway stage, starring in a variety of notable productions such as "Panic," "Hamlet," "Journey to Jerusalem," and "Romeo and Juliet."

As his acting career progressed, Genge made the transition to the big and small screens, debuting in films and television shows in 1953. With his rugged features, robust physique, and commanding presence, he was frequently cast in roles that leveraged his tough-guy persona, including his most iconic part as the gray-haired, shotgun-toting hitman Mike in the groundbreaking action thriller classic Bullitt (1968).
