Paul Deakin, a remarkably accomplished American musician, has left an indelible mark on the music industry, serving as the co-founder and drummer of the highly acclaimed eclectic rock and country group, The Mavericks.

Before embarking on his illustrious music career, Deakin pursued a formal education in music at the prestigious University of Miami, situated in the culturally rich and vibrant city of Florida, United States of America.

As a student at the University of Miami, Deakin undoubtedly honed his musical skills and knowledge, laying the foundation for his future success as a musician.

After wrapping up his academic pursuits, Deakin embarked on a fleeting stint as a music educator before his creative energies were redirected towards a more collaborative endeavor.
