Patrick Winczewski was born and raised in the vibrant city of Berlin, Germany. He began his career in the world of drama, studying under the guidance of renowned instructor Erika Dannhoff. Winczewski's early experiences included working as an assistant to a stage director at the prestigious Tribuene Berlin, and later, he made his debut performance in the Berliner Kammerspiele production of Michael Ende's beloved novel, The NeverEnding Story, in 1984.
As his career progressed, Winczewski went on to appear in numerous productions across Germany, including engagements in Berlin, Hamburg, Aachen, and Muenster, as well as several theatre tours. One of his most notable performances was in the 2006 production of Geliebte Hexe.
In addition to his work on stage, Winczewski made his film debut in 1986 and has since appeared in a wide range of movies and television shows, including Reichshauptstadt privat, Moffengriet - Liebe tut, was sie will, Shining Through, Schneesturm im Fruehling, and Heiß und kalt, among others. He has also played lead roles in five television series, including Hotel Paradies, Vera und Babs, Elbflorenz, Zwischen Tag und Nacht, and The Country Doctor.

In addition to his work in film and television, Winczewski has also lent his voice to several notable actors, serving as the German dubbing voice for Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Hugh Grant.
