Patrick Lazzara is a multifaceted individual, possessing a range of creative skills as an actor, writer, and director. Born in Buffalo, New York, he spent his childhood in Las Vegas, Nevada, where his family relocated when he was young. As the middle of three brothers, Patrick's imagination was always fueled, and he often re-enacted his favorite films with his siblings, including Grease, Escape From New York, and Scarface.
Growing up, Patrick was an athletic and adventurous individual, enjoying outdoor sports and watching a wide variety of movies. However, during his middle and high school years, he struggled with academic motivation, finding more enjoyment in the social aspects of school. He was a popular student, earning the nickname "class clown," and participated in baseball and football, as well as theatre arts classes.
Patrick's passion for acting and filmmaking led him to study at the Joseph Bernard Acting Studio, where he attended Community College of Southern Nevada and University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a concentration in film and theater. It was during this time that he discovered his talent for screenwriting and co-wrote the short film Study Hall, which premiered at the New York Film and Video Festival in 2002.
In the summer of 2003, Patrick visited Los Angeles to explore the possibility of relocating to pursue his acting career. After a two-day stay, he found an apartment, returned to Las Vegas, packed his belongings, and moved to LA. He then began studying acting with Joe Salazar, audition technique with Craig Wallace, and improvisation with Second City.
Patrick's early career was marked by appearances in short films and student projects, as well as his first feature film, The Carbon Copy. In 2009, he wrote and directed the short film The Astray, which premiered at the Action on Film International Film Festival and received three awards, including "Best Actor," "Best Villain," and "Best Breakout Female Star."
In addition to his work in film and television, Patrick has also appeared on stage at The Underground Theater in Los Angeles, performing in plays such as Durang, Durang and Friends and Fables. He continues to build his resume in various creative fields, including writing and producing.
