Patrick J. Andersen, a talented individual with a multifaceted background, was born and raised in the vibrant city of Baltimore, Maryland.
His parents, John Murray Wieman, a sportswriter for the esteemed Baltimore Sun and scout for the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team, and Gladys Carlon, daughter of Loyal Carlon, a renowned conductor and violin teacher for the prestigious Peabody Institute in Baltimore, played a significant role in shaping his early life.
As a young man, Patrick pursued his passion for baseball, serving as a pitcher for the University of Maryland. However, a spring training injury with the Baltimore Orioles in 1972 led him to relocate to New York City, where he embarked on a successful fifteen-year career as a worldwide model.
During his time in New York, Patrick had the opportunity to hone his acting skills under the guidance of the accomplished teacher, Larry Moss, and his singing abilities with Paul Gavert, a Broadway legend. He later continued his studies in Los Angeles, training with the esteemed Stella Adler, among others.
Patrick's extensive experience in the entertainment industry has allowed him to perform on stage, in films, and on television, with credits including commercials and series episodes. After taking a break from acting to pursue teaching Special Education and coaching baseball, he has recently returned to his acting pursuits, bringing his unique blend of talent and experience to new projects.
