Parker Charles William Young was born in the vibrant city of Tucson, Arizona, to Karl and Zarina Young, his parents. As the eldest of three children, he grew up surrounded by the warm desert landscape of the Sonoran desert, where he developed a passion for exploring and trying new things. Parker's early years were filled with a variety of activities, including sports, rock climbing, paintballing, and hiking, which helped shape his adventurous and outgoing personality.
As he entered high school, Parker's focus shifted to football, and he quickly became a standout player, earning a spot on the Varsity team as a sophomore and eventually becoming the team captain by his senior year. However, Parker's interests didn't stop at sports. He also discovered his passion for acting, initially taking the stage as a junior in high school as part of a one-act play. This early experience sparked a desire to pursue acting further, and with the encouragement of his drama teacher, Parker dedicated himself to developing his craft.
After high school, Parker packed his bags and headed to Los Angeles to attend college, but he soon found himself drawn to the entertainment industry, and before he even started classes, he dropped out to pursue his dreams. Parker's big break came when he landed the role of "Ryan Shay" on ABC's hit show Suburgatory, a hyperactive jock neighbor to Jeremy Sisto, and the son of Ana Gasteyer and Chris Parnell.
Following his success on Suburgatory, Parker became a lead in the critically acclaimed Fox comedy, Enlisted, playing the youngest of three brothers, all soldiers in the US Army. In the film world, Parker has starred in the Flower Films produced "Animal" and the upcoming indie "Fourth Man Out." When he's not working on set, Parker enjoys staying active through rock climbing, Krav Maga, yoga, and camping. He's also an avid beachgoer, motorcycle enthusiast, and book lover, often found reading at Barnes & Noble or backpacking in remote areas with no cell service.
