Paloma Nuñez is a multi-faceted, award-winning American-Canadian performer from Chicago, Illinois. Born in Chicago, she was moved to Florida at the age of one, then to Northern Ontario when she was eight. Her parents' relocation to Sudbury, a mining town, marked the beginning of her love for performing.
Paloma's early life was marked by a series of relocations, which ultimately led her to discover her passion for the stage. She graduated from the University of Guelph, majoring in Drama and Math, and completed the Second City Training Centre's Conservatory Program.
Her professional career began in Toronto, where she performed with The Second City, The Bad Dog Theatre, The Impatient Theatre Company, and Comedy Bar. Her comedic path led her to win a Canadian Comedy Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Paloma has been nominated for several awards, including Canadian Comedy Awards, My Entertainment Awards, and Dora Mavor Moore Awards. She is currently a sought-after actor, comedian, director, and voice artist, performing across theatre, TV, and film.
