Oscar Williams, a highly accomplished and esteemed educator, has devoted the past few years to instructing intermediate film production at the esteemed University of Southern California. As a student, I had the privilege of being part of his class during the fall semester of 1998. Williams' unwavering passion for Japanese cinema, particularly the iconic films of the legendary Akira Kurosawa, is truly inspiring. As a knowledgeable filmmaker himself, he brings a unique depth of understanding to his teaching, making him an exceptional instructor.
