Orson Chaplin, the grandson of the iconic actor Charlie Chaplin, and son of producer Ilya Salkind (renowned for his work on the Superman franchise),was born to Jane Chaplin in London, England, in 1986. His early life was marked by international travel with his mother, until the age of seven, when he acquired his green card, bringing an end to his six-month trips between Orlando, Florida, and Switzerland, where he would spend half a year with his extended Chaplin family, consisting of his uncles, aunts, and cousins.
As a child, Orson began acting in elementary school, with his first role being in the school's stage adaptation of Amistad. His parents' divorce when he was twelve years old led to him moving to Los Angeles with his father, where he continued his academic theatre performances at Hollywood High.
In 2009, Orson ventured into the music world, writing, composing, producing, and performing the vocals on his debut rap album "Oz and Effect" under his music producer alias "Ozzy Beats." The album was released on all major music streaming services. The following year, he returned to acting, focusing on independent film, and teamed up with fellow underground rapper and close friend "Geek" to form the duo Radioactive.
In 2011, Radioactive released their debut album "RadioActive First edition," which is also available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and other online retailers. Orson then dedicated himself strictly to acting, enrolling at the "Art of Acting Studio" in Hollywood, where he trained for a year. He has since appeared in numerous television productions, including Ray Donovan, Lucifer, and American Horror Story, as well as worked extensively in independent features, such as Nightmare Cinema and Fifth Street.
Throughout his career, Orson has continued to produce music as Producer Ozzy Beats for fellow artist Geek, showcasing his versatility and talent in both the music and acting industries.
