Olivier Schneider embarked on a remarkable journey in the film industry, initially as a stuntman, working on over a hundred productions, before transitioning to the roles of fight choreographer and stunt coordinator.
In 2007, he made his mark by creating the fight sequences for the highly acclaimed film "Taken", starring Liam Neeson in the lead role. The global success of "Taken", including its widespread popularity in the United States, caught the attention of American producers, who subsequently invited him to collaborate on other projects, such as "Unknown", "Safe House", "Fast and Furious 6", and most recently, the latest James Bond installment, "Spectre".
As his reputation continued to grow, Olivier began to take on new challenges, starting as a second unit director on the movie "Child 44". His fight choreographies, renowned for their realism and effectiveness, have also garnered recognition in France, with notable collaborations including "A Prophet", "Rust and Bone", and the upcoming "Sisters Brothers".
In addition to his work in feature films, Olivier has also ventured into television, co-directing the 10-episode series "Playground" (10 minutes each) in English, featuring an international cast. Released on March 22, 2017, on the new platform "Blackpills", the series marks an exciting new chapter in Olivier's diverse and accomplished career.
