Olivia Newton-John, a renowned English singer and actress, was born in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, UK. In 1954, her family relocated to Australia when her father, the dean of a Presbyterian college in Melbourne, received a job offer. This pivotal move would later shape her career trajectory.
After winning a singing talent contest, Olivia returned to England with her mother, where she resided until 1975. During this period, she released numerous hit singles, including the iconic "You're The One That I Want" from the movie Grease (1978),in which she starred alongside John Travolta.
Olivia's early career also saw her appear on the TV series It's Cliff Richard (1970) and in the film Toomorrow (1970). Her romantic relationship with Bruce Welch, a founding member of The Shadows and a producer of her first international hit "If Not For You", lasted for several years.
