Olivia Baseman is a multifaceted American creative professional, encompassing the realms of acting, singing, writing, and producing. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she developed a strong foundation in classical voice during her teenage years, concurrently honing her skills in regional theatre by appearing in numerous musical productions.
As a graduate of The Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City, Olivia's professional trajectory took a significant turn with her debut television role in the iconic "Rick James" sketch on comedian Dave Chappelle's critically acclaimed series, "Chappelle's Show". This marked the beginning of a prolific career in New York Theatre, with Olivia becoming a valued member of the award-winning experimental theatre company "Gemini CollisionWorks".
Beyond her work in the entertainment industry, Olivia has also ventured into the realm of fashion, serving as a producer, makeup artist, and occasional model in collaboration with her husband, renowned fashion and celebrity portrait photographer Mark Veltman.
