Biography

Olive Tell, a talented actress, was born in the vibrant city of New York sometime in the year 1894. Her journey in the world of cinema began when she was 23 years old, with her debut appearance in the film "Her Sister" in 1917. Although she was largely a character actress, Olive's filmography was relatively limited compared to that of her contemporaries. Despite this, she was one of the few character actresses who successfully transitioned from the silent film era to the sound era. Her impressive career came to an end after filming the movie "Zaza" in 1939. The talented actress then retired from the film industry for good. Unfortunately, Olive Tell's life was cut short when she passed away on June 8, 1951, due to heart failure, at the age of 57, in the city where she was born.
