Ogy, a talented individual with a unique name, was born in a small Algerian village to an Algerian mother and an American father. According to rumors, her mother, while watching TV, was inspired by Yogi Bear and decided to name her daughter Ogy, the female counterpart to the beloved cartoon character.
As a young child, Ogy's family relocated to America, where she began her acting journey in her first school play, Dr. Doolittle. Her parents' divorce when she was six years old led to her mother moving the family from Connecticut to South Carolina. Ogy continued to pursue her passion for acting, graduating with honors from Dorman High School in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
After high school, Ogy received multiple scholarships and financial aid, including the National Endowment for the Arts, to attend college. She enrolled in the Rhode Island School of Design, where she studied Architecture, a five-year program. During her senior year, she was accepted into the European Honors Program and spent a year studying abroad in Rome, Italy. While in Rome, she interned with an Architecture firm and performed at the Teatro Colosseo.
Upon completing her fifth year of Architecture, Ogy received her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Architecture degrees. She briefly practiced Architecture in San Francisco before being called back to acting in Los Angeles. Her director from Italy encouraged her to pursue her acting dreams in LA, and she eventually landed her first movie role in "She's No Angel" starring Tracy Gold.
This breakthrough role instantly made her a member of SAG-Aftra, and she went on to work on notable projects such as How I Met Your Mother, House MD, Lucifer, 13 Reasons Why, and more recent projects like Hacks, CSI Vegas, Matlock, Shrinking, and multiple Paramount films, including "The Image of You" and "Stranger in My Home".
