Biography

Noël Roquevert, a thespian destined to embody the quintessential persona of a gruff, retired military officer, was born into a family of actors in the picturesque region of Brittany. Prior to his rise to fame as the embodiment of those cantankerous, older characters that would become his trademark, he made his debut on stage as an infant, a remarkable and astonishing fact that belies the conventional notion of a performer's early beginnings.

Throughout his illustrious career, Roquevert would go on to appear in an astonishing 150 plays, solidifying his status as a stalwart member of Sacha Guitry's ensemble. Unwavering in his dedication to his craft, he continued to work tirelessly, his passion for acting driving him to consistently push the boundaries of his art.

It was only the devastating loss of his beloved wife, Paulette, that would eventually lead to his decision to retire from the stage, a heartbreak that would leave an indelible mark on his life and career.
