Nivetha Thomas is a talented actress who has made a significant impact in the Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam film industries. Born and raised in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, Thomas completed her schooling at Holy Angels and Montfort Matriculation School. She then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from SRM University, Chennai.
Thomas began her career in the Malayalam TV serial Sri Raja Rajeswari in 2001, playing the role of Gowri. She went on to appear in several Malayalam films, including Uthara in 2003 and My Dear Bootham, a Sun TV serial, from 2004 to 2007.
As a child artist, Thomas acted in the movie Veruthe Oru Bharya in 2008 and received the Kerala State Film Award for her performance. The same year, she made her debut in Tamil cinema with the film Kuruvi.
Thomas has since appeared in a wide range of films, including Chaappa Kurish and Thattathin Marayathu in Malayalam, and Poraali, Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham, Jilla, Papanasam, Gentleman, Juliet Lover of Idiot, Ninnu Kori, Jai Lava Kusa, 118, Brochevarevarura, Darbar, V, Vakeel Saab, and Saakini Daakini in Tamil and Telugu.
Throughout her career, Thomas has received numerous awards and nominations, including the Best Female Debut award from SIIMA for her performance in Gentleman and the Performer of the Year award from Apsara Awards for her role in Jai Lava Kusa.
