Nikolina Lawless, a remarkable individual, possesses exceptional abilities in languages and dialects, being high-functioning autistic and ADHD. Her remarkable gift has taken her on a global journey to explore the intricate socio-political linguistic legacies of various cultures. Her extensive travels have included significant periods in Russia, Ecuador, Mexico, Canada, and France, with academic credentials from Brown University and the University of Washington Seattle.
As a talented comedian, Nikolina collaborates with the Upright Citizen's Brigade Diversity Initiative to craft her humor. Moreover, she uses live performance art to shed light on the often hidden aspects of her autism. Her artistic endeavors have been showcased in two performance residencies, one in Ecuador and her most recent stint at the EZTV Museum in Santa Monica. In Los Angeles, her works have been featured in art fairs at Bergamot Station and Frieze, with the 18th Street Arts Center, as well as in the Santa Monica DNA (Digital New Arts) Festival and Getty Pacific Standard Time Arts & Science exhibit.
In her personal life, Nikolina prefers to maintain a quiet atmosphere when not performing, surrounded by her husband and two black mouth curs in Texas. She is also an enthusiast of European clowning and proudly identifies as queer, using the pronouns she/they.
