Nikki Rae Hallow was born in the city of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, a place that would later influence her creative trajectory. Her mother, a multifaceted performer and children's educator, and her father, a master tradesman with a wealth of knowledge, eventually relocated to a farm near Athabasca, Alberta, a rural setting that would shape her childhood. Growing up amidst the vastness of Alberta's countryside, Nikki and her three older brothers had to rely on their imagination to find entertainment, which led them to learn various trades from their father and engage in improvisational activities with their mother. From a young age, Nikki had set her sights on becoming an actor, and after receiving guidance from her high school drama teacher, she decided to make acting her career. Nikki went on to attend the University of Alberta, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting with Distinction. Since graduating, she has worked extensively as a professional actor, comedian, voiceover actor, improviser, writer, educator, and stunt person, with credits spanning across the globe in film and on-stage productions. Additionally, Nikki is one of the five members of the internationally-acclaimed sketch comedy and improvisation troupe, Marv n' Berry, and continues to create, perform, and tour internationally with her fellow company members on a regular basis.
