Biography

Here is Nigel Plaskitt's biography:

Nigel Plaskitt has had a long and varied career in the entertainment industry. He began as an actor, appearing in TV shows such as Doctor Who, Angels, Young at Heart, The Cleopatras, and Owner Occupied, as well as various TV plays. He also appeared sporadically over a twenty-year period as the long-suffering Malcolm for the cold cure Vicks Sinex.

For nine years, Plaskitt created several characters and wrote for ATV's pre-school children's program Pipkins. He also produced and directed two series of Heggarty Haggerty, children's stories featuring George Cole, for Yorkshire Television.

Plaskitt was a principal performer on Central Television's Spitting Image for thirteen years, acting as consultant on versions of the series for various European TV companies. He has also appeared in several feature films, including Spy Story, Charleston, Labyrinth, Little Shop of Horrors, Lost in Space, The Muppet Christmas Carol, and The Muppets Most Wanted.
