Niels Anders Thorn, a renowned Danish actor, was born in the quaint town of Søborggård, situated within the city limits of Gladsaxe, Denmark. As a young individual, he was drawn to the world of acting, and it was not long before he made the conscious decision to pursue a career in this field.
In 1976, Thorn applied to the esteemed Aarhus Teater, where he would eventually complete his education in 1980. Following his formal training, he went on to participate in numerous theater productions, honing his craft and gaining valuable experience.
A decade later, in 1990, Thorn transitioned to the world of film, making his debut in a co-starring role as an Englishman in the Danish film Casanova. This marked the beginning of a fruitful career in cinema, with his first leading role arriving in 1996, when he portrayed Michael in the Danish film Den attende.
To date, Thorn has been involved in over 30 film projects, with his most recent role being that of Thomas Anderson in the European film The Prince and Me, released in 2004. In addition to his work in live-action films, Thorn has also lent his voice to numerous cartoons, providing Danish dubbing for American productions.
