Nicole Hansen's journey in the entertainment industry began with her studies at the prestigious North Carolina School of the Arts. She further honed her craft at Playhouse West, where she was fortunate enough to train under the guidance of the renowned actor Jeff Goldblum.
Her big break came when she won a Marilyn Monroe look-alike contest, which caught the attention of acclaimed director David Fincher. He subsequently cast her as Marilyn in the iconic music videos for Billy Idol's "Cradle of Love" and "L.A. Woman". Nicole's versatility as an actress was also showcased in the music video "Headlights on the Parade" for The Blue Nile, where she played the role of the Angel.
Nicole's film credits include leading roles in "American Cyborg" and "Soldier Boyz", as well as appearances in "Strangers" and "Driving to Ground Zero". She also co-starred alongside Tony Goldwyn, Jeanane Garofalo, and Giancarlo Esposito in the film "Beyond the Ashes" (also known as "Ash Tuesday") and alongside Ally Sheedy and John Slattery in "Noise". Many of these films were showcased at prominent film festivals such as Tribeca, Austin, Montreal, Vail, and Santa Barbara.
In addition to her acting career, Nicole has also ventured into production, co-producing the pilot "GT Inc." with Keenan Ivory Wayans and Tinseltown with Ron Perlman and Joe Pantoliano. Since 2008, Nicole has dedicated herself to promoting the renewable energy sector, producing the global warming message "Save It" written and directed by 10-year-old Nikos Spiridakis. The video, which starred Tony Goldwyn and 9-year-old Dimitri Spiridakis, debuted at number two on YouTube for non-profit videos and was featured on CNN and MSNBC during the 2008 Presidential Debates. "Save It" is now available on Weinstein Home Video releases of films such as "Zack and Miri" and "The Reader".
Nicole's commitment to environmental causes extends beyond her work in the entertainment industry. She organized a screening of "Save It" at the United Nations and produced the first-ever Renewable Energy Conference and Renewable Energy Awards Gala at the UN in June 2009. As a public speaker, Nicole has addressed the effects of environmental toxins on neuro-developmental disorders such as Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD.
