Nickola Shreli, born in Detroit, Michigan, was the son of Albanian immigrants who migrated to the area in pursuit of work opportunities in the thriving automotive industry. Despite not being a standout student, he discovered his true calling in Eisenhower High School's theater program, where he flourished.
Shreli's multifaceted career path saw him work as a landlord and property appraiser by day and a promoter by night. He pursued his passion for acting by joining the esteemed 2nd City Theater and Detroit Ensemble Theater, where he worked on various projects, including smaller undertakings in Detroit's underground independent scene and larger productions such as the film "8 Mile" when it came to town.
In 2007, Shreli made his television debut with a guest appearance on the popular show "Law & Order: Criminal Intent".
Disillusioned with the casting process in Hollywood, Shreli took matters into his own hands and produced his own content in 2009 with "Familiar Foreigners", a short film that he wrote, directed, and starred in as an illegal immigrant who sneaks into Detroit.
Following roles in a few studio films and TV series, Shreli returned to his indie Detroit roots with "CASH ONLY", a film in which he played the lead role of Elvis Martini, which he also wrote.
