Awards-winning writer/director/producer/actor Neel Esh was born and raised in Ahmedabad, India, where he developed a passion for the performing arts during his studies. Despite holding a Master's degree in Chemistry, Esh never intended to pursue a career in the field, instead opting to explore his creative side. He took part in drama and television programs as both an actor and producer, laying the groundwork for his future endeavors.
With a burning desire to create a film, Esh relocated to Mumbai, the hub of Bollywood, where he collaborated with a film producer friend to learn the intricacies of the industry. In 2003, he established his own production company in Mumbai, India, and went on to produce the film "Deewaanee".
Although Esh enjoyed his time in his native country, he ultimately decided to relocate to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he founded Patel Films LLC, his USA-based production company. In Las Vegas, he invested in Mahal Empire and served as an executive producer on three horror films.
Esh then turned his attention to writing and producing his own script, "Mr. Deshee: An American Dream Drama", a film that holds a special place in his heart. This emotional, dramatic, romantic, and unique story brings together various cultures, conveying a powerful message to illegal immigrants in the United States. The film's themes of hope and perseverance resonate deeply with audiences, highlighting the universal desire to achieve the American Dream.
"Mr. Deshee" has received numerous awards at film festivals worldwide, and Esh is eager to continue sharing his work with a global audience. In his personal life, Esh prioritizes family above all else, recognizing the importance of loved ones in his life. However, he acknowledges that not everyone shares this sentiment, and some individuals may prioritize financial gain over family.
Esh's most recent releases include the drama "Mr. Deshee", which premiered in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand in 2021, as well as the comedy "Ring of Desire", also released in 2021. Looking ahead to 2022, Esh is set to release his upcoming horror film, "Death Club".
