Nathan Marlow is a multifaceted creative force, hailing from Oklahoma and boasting a diverse range of talents, including acting, directing, producing, and writing. His journey began with a stint on the CBS hit show Big Brother, which served as a springboard for his subsequent work on various films, documentaries, and commercials.
Marlow's transition from television to film was marked by his starring role in the award-winning film Crook, released by IFC. He went on to appear in a string of films in 2008, including Dead Cat Bounce, winner of the Monaco Film Festival, and Idyllwild, also released by IFC. The year was capped off with his performance in the historic drama Flint Creek.
As Marlow continued to make his mark in the acting world, he began to venture behind the camera, producing the award-winning film Almost Kings, released by Breaking Glass Pictures. In 2010, he starred in the film Green Guys, released by FilmWorks Entertainment.
The following years saw Marlow appear in a range of films, including Caught Inside, released by Harvest Films, and In This Myth of Vengeance, which he also helped produce. He then took on a producing and acting role in the boxing hit Streams in the Wasteland.
In 2017, Marlow starred in the heist thriller Scoundrels, and in 2018, he produced and starred in the film Sonny Vicious, which received rave reviews at the Comic-Con Film Festival in 2022.
Marlow's creative endeavors extended to the realm of documentary filmmaking, as he wrote, directed, and produced the documentary series The Barry Lyons Story, released by Our Mississippi Home, in 2022. This success led to his being tapped to direct and produce The Battle of Fort Blakeley, released by the State of Alabama.
Currently, Marlow is developing three films for 2024 and 2025, and is also the Co-Founder of Gulf Coast Studios and the film production company Silent Stone Films.
