Nathan Bragg, the eldest of seven siblings, discovered the art of entertainment as a means to effortlessly babysit his younger brothers and sisters under the watchful eyes of their early audiences. This invaluable experience instilled in him a unique brand of comedy that would later become a cornerstone of his professional work.
As he matured, Nathan's comedic skills continued to evolve, particularly during his stint as George, a lovable yet cantankerous radio personality in Greensboro, North Carolina, in 1988. Following this experience, he dedicated the next 19 years to honing his skills in the technical aspects of film and video production, relegating his acting pursuits to occasional hobby projects or community theatre appearances.
However, in 2007, Nathan's acting career resurfaced with a memorable performance as a vampire in the film "Interview with a Dawson City Vampire." He subsequently appeared as George, a damaged villain, in Stefan Popescu's "Nude Study" (2010). Popescu would later cast Nathan as the male lead, Hector, in the comic horror film "Velvet Vixen's Zombie Massacre" (2015),where he portrayed a porn director battling a mutinous production staff while facing a zombie-infested town.
Nathan continues to actively pursue acting roles in feature and short film projects, including "Urban Tooth Decay" (2015),"Snooze Tease" (2015),"If I Should Die - Axe to Grind" (2020),and "Paranormal Survivor" (2021),to name a few.
In addition to his acting endeavors, Nathan has also written and directed numerous short films across various genres, including comedies such as "The Devil's Kitchen" (2011) and "Nut Sack" (2011),which earned an award for excellence in script writing. His documentary, "What It All Boils Down To" (2013),was also produced in collaboration with the National Film Board.
