Nate has worn a multitude of hats throughout his time in Los Angeles, effortlessly transitioning between roles as a writer, director, producer, and actor. His remarkable success as a writer, producer, and actor began with his scripted comedy series, 'Workshop', which garnered an impressive 16 award nominations. Notably, Season 2 of 'Workshop' made history as the first independently produced half-hour comedy to air on Hulu, with Nate serving as the creator, executive producer, and one of the starring actors.
Following the success of 'Workshop', Nate released his science fiction short film, 'Briefcase', which received immediate critical acclaim and was featured on over 75 film sites worldwide. The film's popularity led to Netflix licensing it for worldwide marketing and advertising use.
Nate's second digital comedy series, 'My Synthesized Life', marked his directorial debut, in addition to his roles as executive producer and recurring character. The show earned four award nominations, and Nate received a Best Director nomination.
After the release of 'My Synthesized Life', Nate made the bold decision to sell everything and take a job teaching English in a small country town in southern Japan. Upon his return, Nate penned his first book, 'Journey of Self: Six Months in the Japanese Countryside', which swiftly became a #1 bestseller on Amazon.
Nate has been featured in prominent publications such as TV Guide and Backstage, and has been a featured speaker at SAG-AFTRA on three occasions. His national fraternity, Phi Delta Theta, has showcased him in their Road to Greatness campaign, and his alma mater, Colorado State University, has highlighted him in their alumni spotlight program.
