Nassim Lyes, a French actor of Algerian heritage, was born on June 3, 1988, in Nîmes, France. He has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry with his versatility and talent.
Recently, Nassim has starred in Xavier Gens' action thriller film Farang (2023) for StudioCanal, which is a multi-lingual production. He has also appeared in Olivier Marchal's action feature Overdose (2022),which was Amazon's most viewed non-English language original content worldwide.
In addition to his film work, Nassim has also made a mark in television. He starred alongside Sasha Baron Cohen in the Netflix mini-series The Spy (2019) and will appear in the upcoming season of HBO's Julia (2022).
Nassim has a diverse range of credits to his name, including appearances in Philippe Lioret's Sixteen (2022),Sarah Adina Smith's English-language drama Birds of Paradise (2021) for Amazon, and The Last Mercenary (2021) alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme.
In his upcoming projects, Nassim will team up with Xavier Gens again as the lead opposite Bérénice Bejo in the Netflix event film Sharks, which is set around the 2024 Paris Olympics and revolves around sharks invading the Seine river. Outside of his acting career, Nassim has a background in MMA/fighting and has won a French national kick-boxing championship in the welterweight division.
