Nancy's journey began in her hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and English from the University of Wisconsin, graduating with honors.
After relocating to Los Angeles for over a decade, Nancy's exceptional writing skills caught the attention of the Hollywood community, leading to the optioning and production of two of her scripts, Alien Species and The Killer Inside (also known as Obsession Kills). Throughout her time in Los Angeles, Nancy continued to develop her own projects for film and television, while also working as a writer-for-hire and script doctor, collaborating with esteemed production companies such as Paramount, Parkway Productions, Ixtlan Studios, and Raleigh Studios.
A personal loss brought Nancy back to Wisconsin, where she joined EAA in Oshkosh as a Writer/Producer. As one of the largest aviation organizations in the world, EAA's clients included The History Channel, Discovery, ESPN, and Speedvision. Nancy's work at EAA was prolific, as she wrote and produced the pilot for Discovery's "Learning to Fly" series and oversaw all production of EAA's annual "AirVenture" magazine-style programs from 2000 to 2001. During her tenure at EAA, she earned three Telly Award nominations, including one for "Lindbergh: Flying the Spirit" in 2002.
Currently, Nancy serves as a staff writer for NTD Media, providing narrative for their Emmy-nominated series "DineOut Along the Road" and the new series "Beyond the Harvest." Alongside a co-writer, she is in negotiations with an Australian producer to secure funding for two TV series: a dramedy and an apocalyptic dystopian project tailored for the Australian market. Additionally, Nancy dedicates time to writing and marketing her own screenplays, including her sci-fi comedy and optioned coming-of-age script, Sing Me A Song.
