Molly Ayawa Moriarty, an Australian-born actress of African-Australian descent, was born to a Ghanaian father and an Australian mother. Her acting career began at the tender age of 5, with her first on-screen appearance in the Australian production of 'The Secret Life of 4 and 5 Years Old's, which has since aired in Australia and internationally.
Molly's major breakthrough came when she was cast as Kimmie Black in the US Netflix series 'Cowboy Bebop', a live-action adaptation of the popular anime. She worked alongside Hollywood stars such as John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, Daniella Pineda, and director Michael Katleman.
Molly's versatility as an actress was showcased in her role as the 'Asgardian Child' in Marvel's blockbuster film THOR: Love and Thunder. She worked closely with international A-list actors such as Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, and director Taika Waititi. Her scenes included several stunt sequences, in which she performed her own stunts.
