Mishael Morgan, a talented individual, was born on July 15th in the vibrant city of San Fernando, Trinidad, a place that would later shape her early years and ignite her passion for the performing arts. At the tender age of five, her family made the bold decision to relocate to Toronto, Canada, a move that would eventually lead to her discovery of her true calling.
As a young girl, Mishael's fascination with the world of acting began to take hold, and by the time she was ten years old, she had already caught the acting bug during her elementary school's production of the beloved musical, "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat". Although she never pursued acting professionally at that time, the seed had been planted, and she would eventually revisit her passion years later.
Mishael's academic pursuits took her to York University, where she studied Political Science, and she had even accepted an offer to Ottawa University's LLB program, when fate intervened in the form of a chance meeting with her now agent, David Ritchie. Ritchie's persuasion and Mishael's natural talent would soon propel her into the world of professional acting.
In a remarkable turn of events, Mishael impressed producers at her very first audition, securing a role in Trey Songz's "Wonder Woman" music video. Just a short ten months later, she landed a string of roles, including a couple of recurring parts, which ultimately led to her first series-regular role as Tracy Dupont-Roymont in YTV's "Family Biz" in 2009.
Since then, Mishael has continued to make a name for herself in both television and film, appearing in hit shows such as "The Best Years" (2009),"Republic of Doyle" (2012),and CW's "Beauty & The Beast" (2012),as well as feature films like "Beat The World" (2011),"Casino Jack" (2010),and "Total Recall" (2012).
Most recently, Mishael's captivating portrayal of Hilary Curtis on the popular soap opera "The Young and The Restless" (2018) earned her a well-deserved Daytime Emmy Nomination, a testament to her talent and dedication to her craft.
